Incoloy 825 Hex Bars are made up from the composition of nickel, molybdenum and chromium element. These have a good content of titanium, copper, molybdenum. This composition of elements is formulated to provide exceptional resistance when exposed to the corrosive environment. It is similar to 800 grades but in this case, it offers high resistance to marine applications. These also have improved resistance when performed in reducing and oxidizing acids. These are also resistant to sulfuric acids and chlorides.
It is a wrought corrosion resistant alloy. Advantageously, these alloys do not require heat treatment after welding. The grade resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates that disgrace the corrosion resistance. These offers improved fabricability over the similar alloys. Incoloy 825 Rods are derived from conventional methods both hot and cold working process also typical; welding process is also used. Other benefits include pitting, stress- corrosion and oxidation resistance property.
