Nickel Alloy 200 pipe is a high-purity nickel material known for its mechanical strength and chemical resistance. It has excellent corrosion resistance, operates well at high temperatures and maintains strong ductility, and a consistent structure. These specifications are ideal for complex and demanding applications. Preston Pipes & Alloys, a reputable Nickel 200 pipe provider, manufactures pipes that operate dependably in severe conditions. These pipes are often used in power generation equipment, offshore installations, chemical process pipelines, industrial systems over different terrains, seawater handling units, desalination facilities, and low-temperature services running at −196°C.
Alloy 200 pipe is produced from commercially pure nickel with small controlled amounts of copper, iron, manganese, carbon, sulfur, and silicon. This chemical composition gives the material strong resistance to corrosion in alkaline and neutral media, along with high toughness. It maintains its strength and ductility at both high and low temperatures. Nickel 200 seamless pipe has a high tensile strength, stable yield strength, and an elongation of approximately 40%. This makes it ideal for industrial applications that require long service life, constant performance, and durability.
We provide nickel 200 pipes in various sizes ranging from 4 mm to 219 mm, with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 20 mm. The schedules include SCH 20, SCH 30, SCH 40 and other standard requirements. Pipes are available in round and hydraulic shapes, with manufacturing processes including seamless, ERW, welding, and fabrication. Standard lengths include single random, double random, and cut-to-length. End finishes are available in plain, bevelled, and threaded styles. Custom sizes and specifications can also be produced to satisfy specific project requirements.
To ensure consistent performance, each Nickel 200 pipe is subjected to rigorous quality inspections, which include dimensional inspection, hydrostatic testing, and non-destructive testing. Our pipes are packed securely using hardwood boxes, plastic wrapping, or steel strip bundles in accordance with international export regulations.

Nickel Alloy 200 pipes offer excellent resistance to corrosion in harsh chemical and alkaline environments. They maintain high strength, ductility, and structural stability during long-term industrial service.
Nickel Alloy 200 contains a higher carbon content, while Nickel Alloy 201 has very low carbon levels. Due to this, Alloy 201 performs better at elevated temperatures and minimizes the risk of carbide precipitation.
Nickel Alloy 200 pipes are suitable for cryogenic service down to −196°C and also perform reliably at moderate to high operating temperatures without loss of mechanical properties.
These pipes exhibit strong resistance to alkaline and caustic solutions, which reduces the risk of surface attack and stress corrosion cracking in demanding alkaline environments.
Nickel Alloy 200 pipes are commonly manufactured according to ASTM B161 and ASTM B163 standards, with sizes, dimensions, and tolerances following ASME requirements.
