This grade is made up from the combination of molybdenum and nitrogen alloyed super austenitic stainless steel with lower carbon content. The high-performance SMO alloy has fully austenitic in microstructure in the quench condition. The structure of these pipes becomes slightly harder in terms of high temperatures.

The SMO 254 Seamless Pipes is high alloyed SS steel in austenitic in nature developed for seawater applications and other aggressive chemical environments containing chloride media. This grade belongs to the group of super austenitic steel grade. The higher content of molybdenum adds the excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Moreover, these offer good performance in terms of general corrosion. These possess higher strength than the older version of SS.

This upgraded version has good weldability, machinability, formability, and workability. This grade is magnetic and nonmagnetic in nature. We offer these pipes with sufficient tolerance limit and machining allowance.
