Nickel Alloy 201 sheets, plates, and coils are high-purity nickel products known for excellent corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and strength. These materials are commonly used in challenging industrial applications where reliability is essential. Preston Pipes & Alloys, a leading supplier of nickel alloy 201 sheets, plates, and coils, provides products that adhere to strict quality and performance standards. Due to its high chemical resistance, seawater resistance, and oxidizing environment resistance, it is reliable in harsh conditions. Some of the most prevalent uses are offshore oil drilling, power generation, petrochemicals, gas processing, specialized chemicals, pharmaceuticals, chemical equipment, seawater systems, heat exchangers, condensers and the manufacturing of pulp and paper. As a reliable supplier of nickel 201 plates we always make sure that our products are durable enough for critical operations.
Nickel alloy 201 coils have a precise combination of components that make it more durable and perform better. The elements present are carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper, iron and a high nickel content. The mixture offers superior mechanical strength, high-temperature scaling resistance, and outstanding thermal and electric conductivity. The alloy is 8.9 g/cm³ in density and 1446°C in melting point. It provides a tensile strength of 67000 psi and a yield strength of 21500 psi with an elongation of 45%. These properties enable the use of nickel 201 coil products in the handling of caustic alkalis and corrosive materials, as well as for dimensional stability under stress.
Nickel 201 sheet, plate, and coils are supplied in various sizes and finishes to meet specific uses. The common sizes are 1000 mm x 2010 mm, 1220 mm x 2440 mm, 1500 mm x 3000 mm, 2010 mm x 2010 mm, and 2010 mm x 4000 mm, with various thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 100 mm. Available finishes include hot rolled plate (HR), cold rolled sheet (CR), 2B, 2D, BA NO(8), and SATIN with plastic coating. Forms include sheets, plates, coils, slitting coils, perforated coils, foils, rolls, plain sheets, shim sheets, strips, flats, blanks, and rings. Hardness options include soft, hard, half-hard, quarter-hard, and spring hard. Custom sizes are also manufactured to meet project specific needs.
To make sure, that each nickel 201 plate, and sheet works the same way every time, it undergoes reliable quality checks. These include mechanical tests, chemical analysis and surface inspections. In order to maintain products safe while shipping, it is packed tightly in wooden boxes, plastic wrapping, and steel strip bundles, or as the customer requires. Nickel 201 sheet suppliers are able to make sure that each order arrives on time, and in perfect shape. For dependable, high-quality nickel alloy 201 products, that meet demanding industry standards, choose a trusted source with proven expertise.
