The stainless steel 316 sheets contain high addition of molybdenum and chromium so as to offer a wide variety of industrial application. The SS 316 can work well in quite aggressive conditions so that it can work well in seawater conditions. The SS 316 316L coils offer high resistance to the crevice and cracking corrosion that is not formable as that of austenitic stainless steels. These SS sheets, coils and plates are completely magnetic in nature and it can’t be hardened via heat treatment. Since, plates are the most commonly used product it is manufactured or produced with an incredible microstructure that is derived with the addition of manganese, nitrogen, and nickel. The Stainless steel has the same structure just like the ordinary steels that can work incredibly in higher temperature. The coils have collective characteristic and this is what makes it formable and weldable. Added chromium enhances the corrosion resistance of SS perforated coils. As mentioned it can’t be hardened so all the useful properties get used thoroughly in the application. All the plates, coils and sheets delivered by us possess higher toughness and ductility with high strength.
