These titanium-stabilized austenitic grades Stainless Steel 321 Sheet, Stainless Steel 321H Sheet, 321 stainless steel plate, and Stainless Steel 321 coil are known for their ability to withstand corrosion, weld and withstand high temperatures. 321 stainless steel sheet performs well between 800°F and 1500°F resisting intergranular corrosion. Stainless Steel 321H plate has higher carbon offering better creep strength in heat intensive applications. These grades contain 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium for stabilization, with tensile strength around 75 ksi and yield strength of 30 ksi. Preston Pipes and Alloys supplies 321 stainless steel sheet suppliers and 321 stainless steel plate suppliers products that meet precise chemical and mechanical standards, ensuring consistent performance in demanding service.
These materials combine corrosion resistance with durability under heat, making them ideal for industries that demand reliability. 321 stainless steel plate and 321 stainless plate are common in aerospace exhaust systems, catalytic converters and refinery heat exchangers. Stainless Steel 321H plate serves in boilers, pressure vessels and power plant piping where higher carbon boosts high-temperature strength. Stainless Steel 321 coil and Stainless Steel 321H Coil are used in chemical plants, food processing, and construction cladding. These products perform well in equipment exposed to organic acids, phosphoric acid, or moderate caustic solutions without chlorides or fluorides. Many choose them for their balance of corrosion resistance, weldability, and high-temperature stability.
Manufacturing follows ASTM A240 / ASME SA240 standards. Thicknesses range from 0.1 mm for Stainless Steel 321 Sheet to over 6 mm for 321 stainless steel plate, with coils available in widths from 1000 mm to 2000 mm. 2B, BA, No. 4, mirror and embossed are examples of surface finishes. Melting in an electric arc furnace, casting into slabs and hot rolling are the first steps in the production process. Pickling eliminates scale while annealing reduces stress. Cold rolling is used for thinner gauge or smoother finishes. For strength at high temperatures stainless steel 321H sheet is made with coarser grain size. Although work hardening may happen during machining, both grades form and machine well.
Each product is tested for quality. Checks include chemical analysis, tensile and hardness testing, PMI, radiography and corrosion resistance tests. Surfaces are checked for pits, scratches and other flaw. Prior to packing, dimensional accuracy is confirmed. There are mill test certificates (EN 10204/3.1 or 3.2) available. To shield the material from rust, dents and damage during handling or transportation, packaging options include wooden crates, waterproof bundles or custom solutions. Export packaging satisfies international standards guaranteeing that orders for 321 stainless steel plate price in India arrive in excellent condition.
